Before a group of their peers, fifteen individuals were recognized for their excellence in providing quality care and services to the elderly and the disabled in long term care facilities across Delaware at the 10th annual Delaware Health Care Facilities Association "All Star Awards Program" on Wednesday, May 12th at the Sheraton Hotel in Dover. The program, which is hosted by Delaware Health Care Facilities Association was sponsored this year by Genesis Healthcare.

"These award recipients are the true unsung heroes of the long term care profession. They are the individuals that daily care for the elderly and disabled of our State twenty-four hours a day, as if they were their own family. They often miss their own family celebrations and travel in blizzards to work to provide quality care to those entrusted to their care.
