DHQC Infection Reporting Requirements

Influenza
2 or more cases would initiate a 14-day outbreak period of monitoring (this will reset for every new positive as the facility needs to go the entire outbreak period without a new positive test in order for the outbreak to close)
Only one documented case would require monitoring for signs and symptoms for 7 days among exposed staff and residents. Should another positive become known then an outbreak would be initiated, and a line list would need to be filled out and turned into LTCFresponse@delaware.gov with my email cc’d preferably which is sarah.czukiewski@delaware.gov

RSV

Only one documented case would require monitoring for signs and symptoms for 8 days among exposed staff and residents. Should another positive become known then an outbreak would be initiated, and a line list would need to be filled out and turned into LTCFresponse@delaware.gov with my email cc’d preferably which is sarah.czukiewski@delaware.gov

COVID-19
