State and Federal Legislative Update on Long-Term Care Initiatives: What You Need to Know

As long-term care professionals, this is your opportunity to hear directly from policymakers on the issues that are impacting LTC residents, staff, and industry as a whole. Learn about the bills being negotiated currently in the State Legislature. There will also be a review of the state’s fiscal outlook and a discussion of the current legislative landscape. Attendees can submit questions for the Delaware Lt. Governor and legislators and learn to engage those policymakers who represent them in the state government. Plus, learn the lay of the national legislative picture from an AHCA Representative.
Objectives: By the end of the sessions, learners will know:
- Learn what bills impacting the LTC industry are currently moving through the State Legislature
- Understand the state’s legislative priorities and the fiscal outlook in the state that will affect LTC
- How to engage interested employees on issues of interest to the industry
- Understand the national political actions affecting LTC
