Delaware DPH Update as of 1 pm Monday, March 2

Taken from today’s Livestream press conference:

• Delaware now has a coronavirus website: de.gov/coronavirus
• There are now two potential cases of coronavirus in Delaware, but neither has confirmed
• The Delaware Division of Public Health Lab is now able to test for coronavirus, but will be restricted to guidelines
• Exercise precautions:
  • Handwashing with soap, use of alcohol-based hand sanitizers
  • Do not touch your face or mouth with unwashed hands
  • Clean frequently touched surfaces
  • Stay home if sick, and stay away from well persons
  • Get a flu shot if you have not already
  • Do not use the emergency rooms unless your symptoms are severe; call your physician with questions and concerns
• Delaware DPH is setting up a coronavirus call center and will announce when it is up and running
