This training will present a person-centered training philosophy that is successful with dementia as well as other comorbidities in long-term care settings. It will highlight a truly person, evidence-based approach called CARES® and identify why this approach works when used by staff on a daily basis with every interaction they have. In addition to improved interactions with residents, increased job efficiency, this approach will also help with retention of staff and over satisfaction of care.
